We are a new foundation, but with an inspiring and promising project. Our team works hard to improve the legal protection and lives of millions of animals in the Global South, the most neglected and forgotten macro-region and where most farm animals live and suffer every day.

  • Our mission is to reform animal protection and reduce suffering in the farming industry by leveraging legal and policy tools to enforce accountability and drive systemic change. Through targeted legal reforms, business compliance, and ethical industry practices, we work toward a global framework that upholds the rights of all animals to a dignified life. By advocating for impactful legislation and empowering the farming industry to align with ethical standards, we seek to transition towards a future where animals are respected, protected, and no longer exploited for human consumption.

    We’re exposing companies that break animal welfare laws, pushing for penalties, and working with farms to compliance and transition to ethical practices.

    In this way, we act in response to current cruelty by calling for drastic measures against offending companies, we anticipate by pushing for reforms in regulations and protocols, and we work continuously by reaching out to companies to help them sustain change over time and transform their businesses.

    2. Weak Laws & Enforcement: Animal welfare laws are weak and poorly enforced, leading to widespread violations and cruelty.

    3. Systemic Issues: The industry suffers from overcrowding, inhumane treatment, and lack of accountability.

    4. Strategic Opportunity: Reforming Chile’s farming industry can set a precedent for other countries in the Global South.

    5. Global Impact: Changes in Chile align with global trends toward ethical and sustainable practices, making it a critical focus for systemic change.

  • Yes, in September 2024 we received a seed grant from The Pollination Project to kick-start activities and in December 2024 we received our first major grant from the Craigslist Charitable Fund.
