Meet Animal Law Focus

We conduct in-depth research on existing regulations governing the treatment of farmed animals to design targeted strategies that close legal gaps, strengthen enforcement, and correct systemic non-compliance in the farming industry. Our work is focused on selected countries across Latin America, Africa, and South and Southeast Asia.

As a dedicated team of animal advocates, we are committed to advancing the enforcement of animal welfare laws in the Global South—an urgent yet often overlooked area of advocacy. Through a novel administrative approach, we bridge the divide between policy and practice, working to ensure that legal protections for farmed animals are not only enacted but meaningfully upheld. This critical work aims to bring long-overdue attention to the structural failures in enforcement that prevent real progress for animals.
